Meet Prophet Favour
Prophet Favour Mbesa is a prophetic voice raised since 2006. He was born in Ntcheu District and raised in Blantyre, Malawi. After receiving Christ in 2003, he discovered that he carries spiritual gifts that were already active in his life.
In 2005, he obtained a Diploma in Theology at Wings Of Eagles Bible College under Living Waters Church Malawi. Even before attending Bible school, he had already started prophesying, though he resisted being called a prophet. Many servants of God had already spoken over his life, confirming that he is a prophet carrying an apostolic grace. Yet he rejected these words, desiring his own personal confirmation from God.
After completing Bible school in 2005, he served as a pastor and embraced that identity fully until 2011. During his time as a missionary in Tanzania, God spoke to him clearly, confirming his prophetic office. That moment marked a turning point in his life. After accepting the call, the prophetic grace in his life began to grow rapidly and strongly.
He has had encounters and impartation moments with Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa on two occasions, along with other well-known prophets who strengthened and shaped his prophetic journey.
In 2012, while still in Tanzania, an angel of the Lord appeared to him and told him that his ministry would reach the whole world through social media. That same heavenly being appeared again in 2023 with further direction concerning new social media platforms. This is the foundation of his strong online prophetic impact, which is rooted in divine instruction.
Prophet Favour is preparing to launch a TV and radio station called Prophetic Combo TV. He has established churches in Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa, and Malawi, and he is planning global expansion.
His ministry has touched people of all ages. He has supported many through education, career guidance, shelter, medical help, spiritual care, and material support. He also runs mentorship programs and a School of Prophets, where he has raised over 100 men and women of God.
He is also an author of books and a gospel artist. His nickname is Combo1, representing the many gifts operating in his life. He is a combination of grace: teaching, preaching, accurate prophecy, healing, deliverance, and worship through music.
He has prophesied the elections of three Malawian presidents: Joyce Banda, Peter Mutharika, and Lazarus Chakwera. He also spoke about John Magufuli, the late president of Tanzania, and President William Ruto of Kenya.
Prophet Favour is a product of many anointings. Those who follow his teachings can trace the influence of various mentors through his messages, books, and ministry flow.
In 2020, while seeking God for the mantle of William Branham, he entered a trance and saw an extended hand of Branham giving him a white squeezed handkerchief. As he received it, he heard these words: “From today, you will operate and grow in his mantle.” The vision ended, and he returned to consciousness.
There are many encounters and confirmations in his walk. All glory belongs to God, who forms and shapes His servants for His purpose.
